Brent Butt to Take Center Stage

Tisdale's Comedy Superstar to Perform

We in Canada and the US know him as best Brent Leroy, wise-cracking star goalie and gas jockey from Dog River, Saskatchewan. The world knows him as one of Canada’s funniest comedians: Tisdale, Saskatchewan’s Brent Butt.

Brent will host the medal ceremonies in BC Place Stadium. His appearance is part of Saskatchewan Day celebrations at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, slated for February 23.

Brent and the rest of the Dog River gang have been immortalized in the long-running hit CTV series Corner Gas, which continues to air in syndication in North America and around the world.

Brent and his wife, actor Nancy Robertson, have a new series premiering on CTV on March 1 called Hiccups. More details about Saskatchewan Day will be coming soon, stay tuned…
