A Special Day to Celebrate Saskatchewan

As a Vancouver 2010 Games Contributing Province, Saskatchewan will be honoured with a dedicated Saskatchewan Day: February 23, 2010. The day will feature several activities including a warm-up to that evening’s Victory Ceremony in Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium, a networking event and arts performances.

To head up the Saskatchewan Day celebrations it’s only fitting that one of Saskatchewan’s greatest ambassadors - Brent Butt, one of Canada’s most revered comedians, best known for creating and starring in the iconic Canadian comedy, Corner Gas - will serve as the master of ceremonies during the Vancouver Victory Ceremony that evening at BC Place.  As a Vancouver 2010 Contributing Province, Saskatchewan will take center stage for 30-minutes prior to the evening’s medal presentations.
